Every year the military does a great job of thanking the volunteer's. You log in all the many countless hours that you volunteer for your husband unit events, for your PTA stuff at your child's school, and once you have so many hours you are invited to join into the installation awards night. Tonight I was given an award for my volunteering. They had IVR tonight from 4-8pm. Due to the bad weather we moved from the softball fields to the Hunter Club. They also provide dinner for the volunteer and their immediate family. The kids and I sit down for dinner and enjoy hotdogs, chips, and cookies.......I didn't eat.....I don't eat hotdogs. After a wonderful night with great friends....on the way home I had a little person get sick in the mustang.....yes the mustang is fine and all cleaned......however I have a 2y.o in "Papa's bed" and she had to have her woobie, her blankie, her pillow, and how could I forget her "Papa shirt"...I know she isn't felling good when she doesn't fight me to roll over and go to sleep.
